About Us

The core of Career Partners International, Twin Cities business was established in Minneapolis in 1980 as part of Personnel Decisions International (PDI). It was known as the Career Management Services (CMS) Division of PDI.   Patricia Berg, CEO of Career Partners International, Twin Cities was involved in its start-up in the early 1980’s. In 2000, after a ten year absence from PDI, Patricia returned to lead the division through its next stage of development, defining CPI Twin Cities dedication to relationship-driven, customized service delivery.

In 2002 the CMS division joined forces with Career Partners International to broaden its service delivery capability both nationally and internationally. The association with CPI as a member firm offers global clients seamless access to world class consulting and outplacement firms.

In 2006, the company was acquired from PDI and operates as Career Partners International, Twin Cities under the leadership of Patricia Berg and a team of highly talented coaches and consultants.  CPI Twin Cities has established a loyal and diverse client base and  has earned a reputation for personalized service and innovation to Accelerate Career Potential™.

In 2011, Patricia received the Jules Kerlan Outstanding Achievement Award from the Minnesota Career Development Association (MCDA). This prestigious award recognizes lifetime achievement in the field of career development.
