Career Partners International – Twin Cities Hosts Leader’s Edge 2015 Event Series

Chapel Hill, NC (4/14/15) – Career Partners International – Twin Cities, the Minneapolis and St. Paul area offices of leading global Talent Management Consultancy with a focus on Leadership Development, Executive Coaching and Transitions, and Career Transition (outplacement) services Career Partners International, began its 2015 event series, Leader’s Edge, earlier this month.

Leader’s Edge is a new approach to building and strengthening essential skills for leading individuals, teams, and functions in today’s competitive, fast-changing business environment. It is designed for Director to C-Level leaders who are seeking development experiences to deal with the fast-changing and complex environments they are leading.

Participants gain thought leadership from top executive development facilitators. Insights and knowledge are shared by executives who bring deep experience and an open mind as well as new skills and tools to build advanced leadership capabilities that result in sustainable business advantages.

“Specialized skills such as emotional intelligence and understandings of global leadership perspectives are difficult to develop on one’s own,” CEO of Career Partners International – Twin Cities, Patricia Berg said of the Leader’s Edge series. “This event series will help leaders and managers explore these areas by facilitating powerful discussions.”

Beginning with the April 2nd event, “Leading Organizational Change in the Midst of Global Whitewater,” Leader’s Edge event series will be held the first Thursday of each month from 8:30am to 10:30am at Northland Plaza in Bloomington, MN. Topics include workplace conflicts and resolutions, global leadership perspectives, intergenerational workforces and coaching, emotional intelligence in the workplace and innovative leadership methods.

“We are extremely excited to bring important leadership development skills to the forefront of management conversations,” said Lead Program Facilitator Debra Magnuson.

Leader’s Edge series will include presentation and learning activities, along with discussion of real-world challenges and opportunities to apply learning on the job. Magnuson is the Vice President of Talent Management at Career Partners International – Twin Cities, as well as a faculty member of St. Catherine University’s Leadership Institute. She is also the co-author of “Work With Me: A New Lens on Leading the Multigenerational Workforce.”
